Academy Lunches
The academy lunches are provided by Kirklees Catering, but are cooked on site in our academy kitchen. The academy kitchen has been awarded the top Five Star Food Hygiene Award for compliance with food safety management, structure and hygiene. All children are encouraged to stay for lunch as part of their social growth and development. It is hoped that parents will also encourage their children to have a meal each day, cooked in the academy's own kitchen. Children in Class C-Reception and Class L and I - Key Stage 1: Year 1 and 2, currently receive a government subsidised meal for no parental cost.
At the present time, a meal for a child in Key Stage 2 costs £2.73 and must be paid for via Parent Pay as we are a cash less school.
