Links with Rwamkoma in Tanzania

We have established links with the children of Rwamkoma in Mara, Tanzania. We have a link with Rwamkoma Primary school and St John's Rwamkoma is our link parish.

In February 2017, Mr Bedford visited Rwamkoma Primary School as part of a diocese trip to Mara. This established the link between St John's CE Primary Academy, Clifton and Rwamkoma Primary School. 

In July 2017, representatives from Mara came to the academy to speak to the children about life in Tanzania. They also took gifts back to Rwamkoma Primary School from St John's 

In October 2013 our vicar Fr Stephen took a letter written by our pupils and photos of our school and daily school life on his visit there.  The children of both Rwamkoma and Clifton were very excited, and we hope that this is the beginning of a lovely friendship and an opportunity to learn about each others' lives.
